This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit codeomnific.com or contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it — including your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We have tried to keep it short and in plain English.

Who We Are (Data Controller)

The data controller for this website is Code Omnific LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company, 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. We also operate from Subotica, Serbia.

What Data We Collect, and Why

Contact and business-inquiry forms. When you use the forms on our Contact or Business Inquiries pages, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, and message (plus any information you choose to include in it). We use this data for one purpose only — to read and respond to your inquiry.

Our forms are processed by FormSubmit.co, a third-party form-processing service acting as our processor. When you press submit, your form data is transferred to FormSubmit's servers, which then deliver it to our email inbox. You can read FormSubmit's privacy policy for details on how they handle submissions.

Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. GA4 sets cookies and similar identifiers (such as the _ga cookie) to distinguish visitors. Per Google's GA4 design, IP addresses are used to derive coarse location data at collection time and are not logged or stored by Google Analytics. The reports we see are aggregated and do not identify you personally. See Google's privacy policy for how Google processes this data.

Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server (nginx) automatically records standard access logs: your IP address, browser user agent, the pages requested, and timestamps. We use these logs to keep the site secure and to diagnose technical problems. Logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted.

Legal Bases for Processing

• Taking steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — when you send us a project or business inquiry and we respond to it.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — keeping the site secure and operational (server logs) and understanding how the site is used so we can improve it.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for analytics cookies where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time, for example by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser; withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.

How Long We Keep Data

• Form submissions and inquiry emails: 24 months after the conversation ends, unless the inquiry leads to a contract, in which case related correspondence is kept for as long as legally required.
• Server logs: 30 days.
• Google Analytics data: retained per our GA4 data-retention setting of 14 months.

Your Rights Under the GDPR

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

• Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data.
• Portability — receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Complaint — lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU member state where you live or work.

International Transfers

Because we and some of our service providers operate outside the European Economic Area, your data may be transferred internationally — in particular to the United States (FormSubmit.co for form processing, and Google for analytics). Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Transfers to our US-based processors that are not covered by an adequacy decision rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or on the consent implied by voluntarily submitting the form.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example if we change service providers or add new features to the site. The current version is always available on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top showing when it last changed. Significant changes will be flagged on this page.
